  Just a note to say thank you to the Staff We are from SA and recently (August 2020) needed the facilities available to prepare documents etc . The staff member was helpful and accommodating to our needs Thank You

  Mixed feelings -
  
  The library itself is quaint, amenities are spotless and there is a definite country feel.
  
  Unfortunately, I did not feel welcome. I was passing through babinda, destination Bramston beach, I have just driven for 4 days (from SA) and needed to check work emails, so I stopped and charged my device, ONLY so I could spend the afternoon at babinda boulders, before arriving my destination.
  
  Yes, I charged my device, I was made to feel as if I was stealing power, never have I been so insulted, utilising a library prior.
  
  Solution-
  if power is so limited, perhaps have a $2 gold coin donation box, for travellers like myself.
  I'm sure most would donate, to assist a small town.
  
  The boulders and Creek are definitely work stopping for.

  I was passing through A few weeks ago and need to down load documents and print them out. As I struggle with technology I asked for assistance. The librarian on duty (sorry I don’t remember his name) was extremely helpful and walked me through the the process.

  Reasonably sized considering the size of the town. Friendly staff and a few tables where you can on your laptop. Super clean toilet. Good WiFi.

  sorry to give 2 stars. but there is a reason.
  likely the review of sharon ryder.
  the library is good.
  the female worker was friendly and welcoming.
  but the next day in the morning there was a male very very not welcoming.
  from the first contact at the entrance already he had bad vibes towards.
  then i settled in start connecting the devices. and he came and in a unfriendly and undirect way tell me that i should move from a spot because people needed the photocopy machine.
  
  the day before the lady sent me exactly in that spot. but i did not say that to the unwelcoming man.
  
  then he came again. and tell me " so ! what are you doing here ? just charging your computer? "
  i replied.
  "man there is space for you to do photocopies there is no problem at all.
  and the woman yesterday placed me here."
  
  but from the tone of voice already was clear what i spotted at the entrance. total unfriendliness and hate for backpackers.
  
  so i immediately changed position and said to him in front of every body:
  "next time tell me straight that i cannot stay here without turning around"
  
  and i changed place.
  
  if you want more info please contact me. as a traveller i am many times in this silly situations.
  
  please avoid that man.
  
  other than that the library is good. good luck everybody,
